Who is Jesus? What do we know about Him? Who is his family? Why is he called the son of God? What was his life like? Where did he grow up? Did he grow up in the suburbs or in the city? When he was a child, he learned carpentry from his earthly father. He began his ministry in Israel at thirty. He was a cousin of John the Baptist and the Messiah. In the wilderness, he was tempted by the devil and resisted temptation by quoting scripture. Many Jews were not able to believe that he was the Son of God. He was also misunderstood by his hometown and family. He was the son of Mary and Joseph, and half-brother of James. He was the leader of the early church.

In the final 24 hours of his life, Jesus fulfilled ten unique messianic prophecies. In fact, He was the fulfillment of ten of them. His name, Jesus, is derived from the Hebraic name “Joshua,” which means “God saves.” As the Son of God, He is both God and human. And we must understand that He is our Lord and Savior. These accounts, if true, show that Jesus fought against the devil and was crucified to save mankind. But they cannot be the only myths about Jesus. He fulfilled more than 1,200 prophecies throughout His life. There is no doubt that Jesus’ ministry changed the course of history and made the world a better place to live.
